You will always catch Akari in a pair of grungy jeans with loads of holes in them, a pair of Chuck Taylors (usually black, however she has every color) and a vintage tee shirt, usually with faeries on them. Akari loves to read trashy vampire novels, cleaning house, eating Subway, Hikaru Utada’s music, and head banging to her buddies band, Woe of Tyrants. You’ll never catch Akari near water or balloons, they scare the crap out of her. She enjoys her morning jog assuming she is not up partying with her band friends the night before, and can’t get enough lasagna.
Akari meditates on a daily basis, usually in her room which she has a mediation corner that she sits in. She finds religion fascinating although she doesn’t really claim any as her own, she agrees mostly with Buddhism and when people ask her, she calls herself a “Buddhist, light”. She has a very light personality and has a hard time taking anything seriously without cracking a joke first, but knows when to stop. She has a crush on Dexter, the guy next door who recently moved into their apartment complex.
Akari is somewhat hesitant in battle. She doesn’t enjoy fighting in physical combat, she much prefers the magic side. She learned most of her physical capabilities from Subayai, the fifth Ancient, after she discovers her powers and is taught how to harness them from Kashikoi. Kashikoi favors Akari in the sense that she doesn’t question his every whim like Kaimei does, she just goes with the flow.
